- Profile and avatar: If you update your profile or upload a profile photo, we store that information on our servers to display in the app.
- Usage on your device: The app may store data locally on your device, such as authentication tokens, cached profile, favorites, and recent searches, to improve performance and offline use.

- To provide, maintain, and improve the MedCode service.
- To authenticate you and manage your account and profile.

3. Data storage and security
Account and profile data are stored on servers that power the app. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Data stored on your device (e.g. tokens, favorites) is kept in secure storage where supported by the platform.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only (a) with your consent, (b) to comply with law or legal process, or (c) to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
5. Your rights
You may access, update, or delete your account and profile data through the app or by contacting us. Deleting your account will remove your personal data from our systems in line with our retention practices.

MedCode is intended for healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
